My ice cream maker gets very hot - Is this bad?

To make ice cream, you will cool, or rather freeze, your ice cream mix.
Technically speaking, you don't add cold to the product, but instead extract heat!

Because that heat has to go somewhere, your Musso ice cream machine is equipped with a fan. This draws in air at room temperature and expels it a few degrees warmer.

The ideal environment for making ice cream is an air-conditioned room. The cooler the working environment, the faster your machine will make ice cream. So never place it outside in direct sunlight or in front of a shawarma grill. The latter was done by a Hague catering entrepreneur. He complained that it took a very long time for his ice cream to be ready. It was 47 degrees Celsius around the ice cream machine!

Ice cream consists of 4 important ingredients: fat, air, sugar, and flavorings.
Dairy-based ice cream will be ready faster than, for example, lemon ice cream based on water.
Thus, each ice cream flavor has a different preparation time. Every Musso is also equipped with thermal protection. If it gets too hot, this will activate.

Always ensure at least 50 cm of "breathing room" around your machine.
